PhotonShow creates Macromedia Flash (SWF) movies, which can viewed directly in any web browser on any computer platform. The recipients don't need to own PhotonShow, and they don't need to purchase or install any proprietary player software. They just go your web page and view your shows, whether they're on a PC, Mac, WebTV or Linux computer.

If you have your own web site, you can simply select the PhotonShows you've created (Macromedia SWF files) and put them on your web pages. They'll play complete with captions, sounds, animations, and of course, your photos. Learn more about putting PhotonShows on your own web pages here

If you don't have your own web site, don't worry, PhotonShow can take care of that as well. When you purchase PhotonShow, we create web space for you on our own servers. To publish the shows to your personal space on our server, you just select your shows and click a button. We upload them to our server and even create an email for you to send to others with the web address of your shows. One click to upload and one click to send the email with the link. No more problems emailing photos as attachments. No more problems with people not being able to see your photos. They just click on the link in the email and enjoy your shows in their web browser

We created this service for people who want to share photos occasionaly online, but don't want to pay every month just to maintain a web site. With our service you only need to pay when you want to share more shows through our web servers. And we even let you share the first 250 MB for free with your purchase of PhotonShow.

1) Do I need to use your web service?

Not at all. We offer it as a service for people that want to share on the web, but don't have their own web site. If you have your own web site, you can publish PhotonShows on your own site without using our service. And of course, if you just want to make shows for your own PC, CD-ROM, screensavers, Pocket PCs you don't need our web service or your own web site at all to use PhotonShow.

2) How much storage space do you provide?

We provide you with 30 MB of storage space. You don't have to pay to keep shows on our web server - we will store them without requiring any additional payment. You can easily manage which shows are stored online, add them, remove them, see how many times they've been viewed and more.

3) How much bandwidth do you provide?

When you purchase PhotonShow we provide you with 250 MB of bandwidth or "viewings". Considering that a typical show with a few dozen pictures is around 2 MB, this means that you can create a show and share it with 100 or so people (2 MB show x 100 viewings = 200 MB).

4) What if I need more bandwidth to share more shows with more people?

If you find yourself sharing a lot of shows, you can always purchase additional viewings. Where most web hosting services charge you a fixed price per month to maintain the site, we don't charge you anything to keep your PhotonShows online. You only have to pay for more viewings when you need them.

We offer the following options for additional viewings:

Option 1: 500 MB for $9.95 USD
Option 2: 1,000 MB for $14.95 USD
Option 3: 2,000 MB for $19.95 USD

So as an example, for $19.95 you can share a 2 MB show to an additional 1,000 people (a 2 MB show x 1000 people = 2000 MB).
